but friends call me B.J., or Babs, but please don't call me Barbie.  I live with my husband Ben, my cat Missy and three birds in Simi Valley, California.  A pleasant town to live in but I am afraid a fast growing small metropolis. 
I was born in Indonesia, then followed my parents ( actually I had no choice at the tender age of 4 ) to The Netherlands ( Holland ). Then, finally, to this great "land of opportunity" 1960. (if you'll are good in math hehe, you have also figured out how old I am) 
I have 3 children, Rick 30, Erick 26 and Dawn Danielle who is 20.    Ben's 2 sons are, Bryan 34 and Diron 28.  But why stop there!  We have 3 grandchildren Corey 11, Amanda 11  and the youngest Jordan Ashley, 2! Phew, did I miss anyone?  Hopefully not. 
Unfortunately, our family lives spread out all over the U.S. , but we manage to be a close family thanks to this fandangle new age technology called a computer.
Besides being on the puter, I enjoy bowling, arts and crafts and reading books.I recently had a wonderful 4 week vacation in Holland.  After 32 years of having been away, I re-acquainted myself with all my cousins and also dug deep into my  family ancestry. 
Thanks to David, Roni and Frank my puter knowledge has grown leaps and bounds    this past year. Otherwise, I would be probably digging around in my back yard, or  in front the that one eyed monster called T.V.!!
